Our highly skilled Mold Polishers have perfected their craft over many years of experience to give CACO PACIFIC the unique ability to produce the finish needed for desired plastic part appearance and for consistent ease of plastic part ejection.
When CACO PACIFIC was asked to pioneer optical lapping techniques for laser disc and CD molds during the 1970s and 1980s, we laid the foundation for important new finishing practices that are still incorporated today. In many cases, such as demanding optical and mirror finishes, we developed our own automated highly controlled polishing/lapping techniques and equipment.
Recent upgrades to our polishing program include a newly built room for the Polishing Department which takes advantage of a new central location that provides better communication and a closer working relationship with the Moldmakers for fitting and assembly cohesion.
